Due to a high volume of program registrations, the following measures will be in effect on February 20 for spring program registration:
From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. all use of the activeOshawa Online will be suspended. Contact a recreation facility to book a court or drop-in activity.
Users will be placed in the waiting room queue at 8 a.m. until registration opens at 9 a.m. At 9:00 a.m., users will be randomly placed in line in the queue.
Email confirmation of registration and payment will be delayed and will take several hours to complete.
During busy registration periods, course payments will appear as a credit on your activeOshawa account, and registrations will appear as pending under "My Courses".

Develop swimming proficiency, lifesaving skills, and personal fitness. Candidates refine their stroke mechanics, acquire self-rescue skills, and apply fitness principles in training workouts. Excellent preparation for success in Bronze Medallion and provides a fun introduction to lifesaving sport. Completion of Bronze Star allows early entry into Bronze Medallion if candidate is under 13 years old.
