COVID-19 Update: Durham Region including the City of Oshawa move into Red-Control category

Effective Monday, November 23, 2020, the Region including the City of Oshawa has moved into the Red-Control category of the province’s COVID-19 response framework. In accordance with this, the following is now in effect at all arenas:
• all leisure skates have a reduced capacity of 10 community members at a time.
• spectators are not permitted in recreation facilities. Any community member under the age of 18 years who is engaged in activities within a facility may be accompanied by one parent or guardian. Parent or guardians are required to book and pay admissions where applicable.

​​The City of Oshawa's Recreation and Culture Services Branch operate and maintains 4 ice pads at Delp​ark Homes Centre, 2 ice pads at Harman Park Arena, and 1 ice pad at Donevan Recreation Complex.

Please note:

  • Only the account owner can book visits on behalf of other members in the family group.
  • There is a limit of one booking per day for a leisure skate per person.
  • Member​s can book up to 7 days in advance, all other community members can book a day in advance for a leisure skate.
  • Please ensure you have the correct member selected from the participant menu and click Go (please wait for the webpage to refresh before selecting book now).
  • You can view and confirm your booking in the appointments section of your account.
  • Community members will be charged regular admission fees online, if you qualify for a Student, Family or Senior price please visit the reception desk upon your arrival to have your fee adjusted.

Skate at your own pace in an adult-only environment. Unsupervised skate for adults 18 years and older.

Parent & Tot Skate Booking

Slower paced environment for young skaters. An adult must provide constant, active, on-ice supervision. Maximum of 3 children, 5 years or younger, per adult. Supervised evenings, weekends and holidays. C.S.A. approved hockey helmets are mandatory for children 5 years or younger.

An open skate for everyone. Supervised evenings, weekends and holidays. A guardian age 14 years or older must provide constant, active, on-ice supervision for all children 7 years of age and younger. Maximum of 3 children per guardian. Skating aids are permitted in designated areas (not provided). C.S.A. approved hockey helmets are mandatory for children 5 years or younger, strongly recommended for all skaters.
