Swimmer - 1

Swimmers will become comfortable jumping into water with and without a lifejacket. They'll learn to open their eyes, exhale, and hold their breath underwater. They'll work on floats, glides, and kicking through the water on their front and back with assistance.

  • 1. Enter & exit shallow water
  • 2. Jump into chest-deep water
  • 3. Hold breath underwater for 5 sec
  • 4. Open eyes underwater
  • 5. Blow Bubbles underwater
  • 6. Submerge & exhales 5 times
  • 7. Float on front for 5 sec
  • 7. Float on back for 5 sec
  • 8. Glide on front 3m
  • 8. Glide on back 3m
  • 8. Glide on side 3m
  • 9. Roll laterally front to back & back to front
  • 10. Flutter kick on front 5m
  • 10. Flutter kick on back 5m
